COMPANY

Avatar, LLC, (Avatar) based in Tulsa, Oklahoma, is an Oklahoma Limited Liability Corporation, is a leader in the development of electronic health records (EHR) for dentistry and medical applications and for the general public.  The Company’s founders recognized the tremendous unmet need for efficient, cost-effective electronic health records (EHR).


MARKET

Avatar intends to become the market leader in EHR through successful partnerships with respected dentists, physicians and hospitals.  After establishing a track record of success as a highly attractive platform for delivery of EHR in the rapidly expanding and under-penetrated cloud computing clinical markets, Avatar will capitalize on the business opportunity created by the federal government’s initiative to force adoption of EHR solutions. 


Gartner estimates the size of the current EHR market at $3 billion annually and anticipates the market to top $9 billion over the next five years.  Gartner also estimates that cloud computing services revenues will grow from $58.6 billion in 2009 to $148.8 billion in 2014.


COMPETITION

Presently, there are at least 10 major and an estimated 2,500 minor competitors in this market space.


COMPETITIVE ADVANTAGE

Using a high-performance software as a service (SaaS) platform Avatar deploys Apple’s iPad and other similar tablet devices for health care practitioners to use in clinical settings. These devices are used to capture and retrieve clinical information stored on Avatar’s proprietary cloud infrastructure.  Other than the iPad and a secure wireless network connection, clinicians will have no hardware at their location.  Avatar will maintain all patient information for our client’s and adhere to all HIPAA compliance standards.  Mimicking Apple’s iPod Touch, iPhone and iPad, our proprietary software will allow every clinician to design the view they choose for the information they require.   The general public will also be able to define the way they see information so that it is understandable.


As a valued added service, Avatar offers statistical analytics to demonstrate that our health care client’s practice principles and methods are consistent with or exceed both regional and national standards of care.


BUSINESS MODEL

All services are provided on an individual subscription basis.  Health care professionals pay $149.99 per month per user and the general pubic pays $9.99 per user, per month. Drug manufacturers would pay $10,000, per month
